On top of the mountain you find the Hovfjället sport restaurant. In the traditional timber-house, furnished with a large open fire-place you can enjoy a nice dinner or a drink in the pub, admiring the splendid view of the surrounding landscape.

If you decide to let skiing rest for a day there are plenty of other activities to try out. A Finnish smoke-sauna is a decidedly different experience. The children will enjoy the adventure-bath and the bowling-alley in nearby Torsby, just 25 km from Hovfjället. Try the 4-wheelers at Gammelbyn holiday village. "Get high" on the climbing-wall at Vägsjöfors Herrgård. And why not spend a day on a shopping-spree in Torsby - more than 50 shops.

Enjoy the fantastic nature! The Hovfjället area offers a multitude of possibilities for exciting excursions. Why not test your fisherman skills? The region is abundant with fine fishing waters - in winter as well as summer!

Mooneye Sleddogtours

We ride with our dogs in the ski resort of Hovfjället, 20 km north of Torsby in Värmland. This is the most southern Fjäll-region of Sweden. Keywords in our work are: small-scale, informal atmosphere, safety and having fun. And of course: love for animals!
