Alpine skiing….

The alpine skiing on Hovfjället is always a rewarding experience, for skiers of all levels. All of our 15 runs are laid out with consideration taken to the natural environment and are carefully integrated into the surrounding landscape. The beginner as well as the more advanced skier will find challenges well adapted to their different skills.

You always start from the top of the mountain, meaning that you always start your day with skiing. Our extensive lift system will take you swiftly back up again. Take a look at our piste map>>

For families with small children, Hovfjället offers an additional comfort as the easier pist ends right at the restaurant. The older childrens can test their skills in our snowboard-land.

….or cross country

Don´t forget to try our beautiful and varied touring- and cross country tracks. Load you backpack up with coffee and sandwiches and glide silently along the track between snow-laden trees in virgin nature. An experience hard to beat!

Hovfjället offers a total of 60km of marked touring- and cross country tracks. We are well renowned for the good conditions we provide, for leisure skiers as well as elite. It´s no coincidence that the Hovfjället area hosts a very successful Ski-gymnasium. The restaurant

The restaurant is located right on top of the mountain,
a beautiful timber house with an inviting open
fireplace as a centerpiece. Enjoy a nice meal or have
a drink in the pub while you admire the fantastic
view over the surrounding landscape.
